Filtered Life was a 6-week campaign targeting social media users on the very platforms they use, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. Posting daily, the campaign aimed to encourage users to reflect in their habits and go analog. Alongside these channels was a blog-based website to collate all the information.
Companies running these apps play a frequent role in over 60% of earth’s population. What many (if not billions of) people don’t know is the methods companies enforce to hook their users in, the signs of social media addiction, and the wide range of techniques to help reduce avid use.
